Russian Bureaucracy

It would seem as though we are going to have to bribe some officals at the Mongolia border, as we have not manged to register our visas in Russia as yet...

If you stay in a Russian city for more than 3 working days you need to register. Its a costly rule as you have to pay for each city you visit. We couldn't find the agency we pre-paid registration with in St Petersburgh (after searching for over an hour) and then were told, after navigating dimly lit wooden corridors in the maze that is the Moscow office, we also couldn't register here as our visa invitation was for St Petersburgh...
